1. RENTSCH BREWERY

Valentine Mendez, who works inventory for the brewery, said Rentsch reopened its taproom in early May after stopping production earlier this year to expand its facilities and add eight new 60-barrel fermenting tanks. The expansion is expected to increase production from 1,000 barrels of beer yearly to 10,000 barrels.

 1. FLYING MAN BREWING CO.

Rogness Brewing Co. ceased operations in August after its lease ended. Flying Man co-owner Matt Baker said his brewery bought Rogness’ equipment and building, which it is still renovating. Flying Man will operate under a brewpub license, Barker said. Forrest Rogness said his business will return to Pflugerville in a new facility in 2017.
